Good news, everyone ;) I’ve just turned off all the moderation settings on the diybio-nyc mailing list, and renamed it biohack-nyc@googlegroups.comĀ The list was dead for a while what with everyone needing permission to post on it (which was in place by group decision at the time, what with biosafety scares and all). It was also true that there just weren’t that many people out there...
Sitting around thinking about lambda calculus again. It’s such an elegant tool. I just want to find a way to use it for biology.

… Coming this Wednesday on YouTube. I really do think this might turn out to be pretty interesting. Forty something episodes with no linear order describing the film’s world. How can that be bad?

The hardest part of starting any organization must be coming up with a great name. Something that works for what it’s supposed to do, but nothing tough to remember or pretentious.
