iGEM is more or less over, but there’s no end to the science. The experience of making that quantum dot generating genetic circuit brought more questions than answers.
Here are some pics taken during characterization. I still need to run it through tons more tests to know anything for certain, however.
Just submitted my first biobrick, quantum dot generator. Now time to prep mad samples for sequencing.

I must be getting delirious. I just printed 40 copies of a primary research paper to give out at the Maker Faire.
I’m guessing I’m not going to get any sleep tonight either. Man preparing for Maker Faire is HARD.

I’m seriously tempted to submit something to the event. Certainly there isn’t any lack of ideas, though whether they are good/feasible or not nobody knows :)
